About the role

We’re looking for a social media specialist who thinks like an owner. Someone full of ideas, comfortable in a less formal environment, and excited to take charge of projects from concept to execution to measurement. This is not a “schedule posts and track likes” role. Social media is a business channel for us, and we want someone who understands how content, community, and storytelling connect to real goals.

Role Overview

The Social Media Lead is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to grow the company’s social media presence, engage audiences, and drive brand awareness across all key platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest. This role ensures alignment between the company’s goals and its social media content, campaigns, and community management. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with strong analytical skills and experience in social media strategy, content creation, and performance analysis to deliver measurable results.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

  • Certifications in social media marketing, digital marketing, or analytics tools are an asset.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience managing social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Tiktok, Youtube) & influencer campaigns for brands, with a proven track record of growth and engagement.

  • Experience in content creation (e.g., video, graphics, copywriting) tailored for different platforms.

  • Experience in managing advertising campaigns on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

  • Proficiency in using social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later) and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Insights, TikTok Analytics, Google Analytics).

Skills

  • Deep knowledge of social media trends and strong understanding of platform-specific algorithms and best practices.

  • Creativity in developing unique content and campaigns aligned with the brand’s values and audience preferences.

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.

  • Analytical mindset to track performance and optimize strategies based on data insights. Strong understanding of performance tracking and reporting across platforms (Meta, Tiktok, GA4).

  • Excellent communication skills, with experience in community management and customer interaction.

  • Demonstrated experience managing influencer relationships, negotiations, and ROI-driven collaborations.

  • Fully bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken, to support market-specific campaigns and audience engagement - a must.

Additional Assets

  • Experience with influencer marketing and partnership strategies.

  • Familiarity with e-commerce and social commerce features like Instagram Shopping and TikTok Shop.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with marketing and growth goals

  • Create, schedule, and manage engaging multi-platform content (posts, reels, stories, short-form video)

  • Lead influencer and talent collaborations, from outreach to content delivery and ROI tracking

  • Manage community engagement by monitoring and responding to comments, messages, and mentions (with team support)

  • Track performance using KPIs and analytics, turning insights into optimizations

  • Manage and optimize social campaigns to drive engagement, reach and RO

Work Schedule Specifications

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with 1 day per week working from home based on team and project requirements. Mondays and Fridays are mandatory in-office days to ensure collaboration and strategic alignment. Flexibility is required during product launches, campaigns, or high-demand periods.
